She Survived!

It has been a long 7 years, but I made it out alive. From 3 years of community college in receiving my A.A. in Studio Arts to taking a year off to work while I wait on acceptance letters to transfer and ending it with a bang of 3 years in getting my B.S. in Apparel Merchandising and Management Retail Option. The time spent within those 7 years have brought so much growth and patience. Every day was a learning experience, from moving out of the parent's house and living on my own to experiencing London, studying abroad. Each experience played a major role in my timeline and as I look back at those experiences, it has changed me for the better. I know it may sound like all the cliches in the world, but I absolutely cannot express how much of an impact each moment has. Past Michelle struggled with self-confidence, she doubted herself and her creative ability. She never saw herself as enough and that there was always someone better. Michelle today, views herself as her own individual. She seeks opportunities in creating every chance she gets. She genuinely cares for others well-being and is grateful for those who care for her and stood by her side as her growth progressed. Today, I am currently seeking job opportunities to be able to create and share that passion with others. I cannot stress how passionate I am about creating and designing and to be able to pursue a career in that position would be the dream job of a lifetime. I believe it is not work, if you love what you do. I want exactly that and I hope to get there someday.
